MDCC has a multi-faceted community empowerment program that all of its businesses take an active part in. This program starts with rural infrastructure including roads and clean water. Rural education and health is the next prong in this program. Economic opportunity including employment and small business creation is the final prong in MDCC’s community empowerment program. MDCC is a supporter of the Mozambique Conservation Organization, www.mozconservation, and is working on a community based project for the village of Limpembo in the Niassa Province.
